What is ICQCC?
International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) is an annual event held in different countries every year with the purpose of celebrating, sharing, and recognizing outstanding circles from all corners of Asia. The idea of organizing the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) began in 1975. During the Korean Control Conference, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference proposed that opportunity of exchanging idea and experience on QC Circle activities should be held periodically among the countries for further development of the activities. For this reason, in 1976, the first International Convention on Quality Control Circle was materialized in Seoul and the participating countries were Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Since then, the number of countries and regions attending had increased. This year's conference was hosted by the Association of Pioneer Quality Control Research (PQCRA) in Taipei, Taiwan. Around 200 presenting groups from 15 participating countries were present during the event, sharing their wonderful experiences and exchanging innovative management strategies among all the delegates. This will be followed by the ICQCC 2014 hosted by Sri Lanka.
